Terms & Conditions
Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of DPD, a fraud prevention SaaS platform providing phone-based risk scoring, risk intelligence, and decision-support tools for e-commerce merchants.
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of DPD and its related website, dashboard, APIs, plugins, tools, and services.
By accessing or using DPD, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the platform.
2. Eligibility
DPD is intended strictly for business use. You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements.
If you use the platform on behalf of a company, store, or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
3. Accounts
To access certain features, you may need to create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account.
- You must promptly update any inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated account information.
- You must notify us without undue delay if you suspect unauthorized access or misuse of your account.
4. Description of Service
DPD provides fraud prevention support through phone-based risk scoring, behavioral risk signals, and merchant-facing operational insights intended to help e-commerce merchants assess potentially risky orders or account activity.
The platform is a decision-support system only. It does not automatically make business decisions and does not replace merchant judgment, internal review, or operational controls.
Final business, delivery, payment, shipping, verification, and customer-handling decisions remain solely the responsibility of the merchant.
5. API & Technical Usage
Access to the platform may include APIs, plugins, integrations, imports, exports, webhooks, and other technical functionality.
- You must use the platform within the limits, quotas, and plan restrictions made available by DPD.
- Automated scraping, excessive traffic, abusive lookups, security testing without authorization, or attempts to bypass technical limits are prohibited.
- We may throttle, restrict, suspend, rotate, revoke, or otherwise control access credentials, endpoints, or integrations in response to misuse, instability, or security concerns.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted API availability, backward compatibility for all integrations, or support for every third-party environment.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the platform for unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or fraudulent purposes;
- use phone lookups, scoring outputs, or platform data to harass, target, track, or profile individuals outside legitimate business fraud-prevention use;
- resell, redistribute, republish, expose, or commercially exploit platform data or outputs without authorization;
- reverse engineer, copy, scrape, duplicate, or misuse proprietary parts of the service except where expressly permitted by law;
- submit data you are not legally authorized to process or share;
- attempt to interfere with the security, integrity, availability, or performance of the platform.
7. Merchant Responsibility
Merchants remain responsible for ensuring that their use of DPD complies with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and contractual obligations, including data protection requirements.
You are solely responsible for:
- the legality of the data you submit to the platform;
- the decisions you make based on scores, indicators, timelines, recommendations, or other outputs;
- your customer operations, order review process, and internal fraud-handling workflow.
DPD provides intelligence and support only. It does not guarantee fraud prevention, delivery success, payment collection, customer legitimacy, or commercial outcomes.
8. Billing & Subscription
Access to some features of DPD may require a paid subscription. Pricing, billing cycles, usage limits, plan features, and upgrade options may be described on the website or inside the platform.
Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions may renew automatically at the end of the applicable billing period using the payment method associated with the account.
- You are responsible for monitoring billing status, invoices, renewal dates, and payment method validity.
- Plans may include request limits, seat limits, usage caps, token allocation, or other technical restrictions.
- We may update pricing, features, or plan structure prospectively, with notice where reasonably appropriate.
- Failure to pay applicable fees may result in restriction, downgrade, suspension, or termination of access.
9. Refund Policy
Payments made for subscriptions, usage, or related services are subject to the applicable Refund Policy published by DPD.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing or required by applicable law, paid amounts are generally non-refundable once access to digital service functionality has been granted.
10. Service Availability
We aim to maintain reliable access to the platform, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or always-available operation.
We may update, modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue parts of the service for maintenance, security, infrastructure, compliance, abuse prevention, operational changes, or product improvement.
Temporary downtime, degraded performance, maintenance windows, third-party outages, or integration failures may occur from time to time.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DPD shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or business-related losses, including loss of profits, revenue, customers, contracts, opportunities, reputation, or data.
DPD does not guarantee that the platform will prevent all fraud, abuse, cancellations, refusals, chargebacks, delivery disputes, payment issues, or operational losses.
Risk scores, recommendations, and fraud indicators are probabilistic and depend on available data, technical inputs, merchant feedback, and operational context. Merchants remain solely responsible for how they interpret and act on those outputs.
12. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the platform, including software, interface design, branding, content, architecture, scoring systems, documentation, and related technology, remain the property of DPD or its licensors.
These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you other than a limited right to use the platform in accordance with your subscription and these Terms.
13. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the platform immediately, with or without prior notice where reasonably necessary, if:
- you violate these Terms or any applicable policy;
- you misuse the service or create legal, financial, security, or operational risk;
- you fail to meet payment obligations;
- we are required to do so for compliance, infrastructure, abuse prevention, or risk management reasons.
Suspension or termination does not automatically remove outstanding payment obligations or create a right to a refund.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions become effective upon publication unless a later effective date is stated.
Continued use of the platform after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised version.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable in Morocco, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
